Bigger gardens, bigger projects
Aldridge has plenty of detached and larger semi-detached houses with good-sized front and back gardens, and that suits bigger projects: wide block-paved driveways, porcelain patios, retaining walls on sloping plots and full garden makeovers done in one go.
Because we do the groundwork, paving, brickwork, fencing and lawns ourselves, a large job is planned and built by one team, in the right order, on one price.
Patios and driveways
For patios we lay porcelain, natural stone and concrete slabs on a full mortar bed, kept below the damp course and set to fall away from the house. Read more on our patios page. For driveways, it's all about the base: dug out properly, compacted in layers and edged so the surface stays flat. More on our driveways page.
Planning in Aldridge
Aldridge itself is in Walsall borough, so it's Walsall Council for planning and dropped kerbs. A few villages just over the boundary fall under Staffordshire councils, so if you're not sure which applies to you, ask and we'll point you the right way.

Yes. They're built thicker and on deeper footings, with drainage behind. Taller walls can need an engineer's input, and we'll tell you if yours does.
